Snorkeling & Dolphin Tour

If you like to snorkel, don’t miss one of the many boat excursions in Nungwi. You can see many fishes as well as sea stars.

Choose to visit Mnemba coral reef and swim with dolphins. Mnemba is famous for her marine protected area. Do to this reason, notice that already the government ask for a fee of $25 per person, but snorkel can be arranged also next to the famous area, depending on your budget.

Also amazing for his colourful soft coral reef, Tumbatu Island, ask for it!

Nungwi Aquarium & Horse Riding

At just few minutes from our apartments, there is the Nungwi Aquarium where you can swim with the turtles. To notice that this is a touristic attraction and is not really a turtle conservation place. If instead you would like to go for a nice horse ridding at the beach, this can be organized next to Z hotel.

Discover the history of Zanzibar starting from his heart: Stone Town. Visit the markets and slave market, the old fort, and much more!

Combine it with one or two of the other options: try the Zanzibarian taste by visiting the Spice Farm, swim in the Nakupenda Sandbank or visit Prison Island.

Jozani Forest & Maalum Cave

Jozani Forest is best known for its red colobus monkeys, which are endemic to Zanzibar. Walk across to the Pete-Jozani Mangrove Boardwalk which is extremely crucial to Zanzibar’s ecosystems, providing a habitat for many lizards, snakes and birdlife as well as preventing coastal erosion. Maalum Cave is a special place to reconnect with the nature, explore the underground life, relax and enjoy the pace.
