Aluna Paje is a new accommodation in the heart of the lively center of Paje. Aluna is characterized by a personal approach, good service and comfortable rooms at an affordable price. Feeling at home away from home. The hotel is built under European architecture and offers a unique combination of modern design with African details and a natural and green environment. The mature palm trees have been preserved since ancient times and magically rise up through the sundeck with pool and bar on the first floor. The rooftop terrace offers a wide view of the ocean and Paje village, and is a unique place on the East coast to enjoy the sunset. A special setting that is best reflected in the full moonlight. Hence the name Aluna, “under the moon”.

Our hotel was built in a sustainable way taking into account the existing palm trees; the room furniture is made from recycled dhow wood from local boats; we have used decoration made from recycled material from LiveLifeAlways (over 120 used milk cartons, 50 kg of clothing and fabric scraps for cushions, 25 cement bags and 4x 20L disposable plastic bottles), and we support local women with Chako lamps.
